Chris is a theologian and social entrepreneur working at the intersection of faith and public life. He is co-founder and director of Neighborly Faith, a nationwide movement bringing evangelical Christians and Muslims together on university campuses. Chris is also an advisor to PACE Funders, a DC-based philanthropic laboratory for civic engagement donor strategies.

Chris discovered his interest in faith and public life while training for a career in Christian ministry at Moody Bible Institute, Wheaton College, and also the University of Cambridge’s Interfaith Programme. He is now completing a PhD at St. Michael’s College in the University of Toronto, where his research on Vatican II has won over a dozen awards, including a fellowship from Canada’s Social Science and Humanities Research Council.  

In his spare time, Chris enjoys rock climbing and freediving with his wife Reena at his home in Victoria, BC.
